More than just products, Intel delivers powerful computing platforms. To accomplish this, we need individuals who can look at things from a broader perspective- a systems perspective-to ensure the solutions we develop are both forward-thinking and future-ready. Our system architects deliver the combined hardware and software expertise that will help us advance these efforts.
Intel system architects investigate the architectural needs, explore available solutions, and then model and evaluate systems and their interaction using benchmark programs.
Intel® Software Insight Magazine
Intel's E-magazine is dedicated to the leaders and enthusiasts who work and play in the vast software ecosystem. Read about the topics that drive, define, and propel all facets of the software industry: the issues, the technologies, the successes, the innovations.
Intel® Software Development Products
When it comes to third-party software solutions, we want to help developers rock their code on Intel® architecture. That’s why we deliver powerful developer tools for any Intel platform, serial to manycore. For everything from compilers and performance libraries to error-checking and profiling tools, we help developers succeed at every step.
Successful system architects have an advanced degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, with 4-9 years of experience, depending on your education level. We look for candidates who have technical expertise in electrical failure analysis, CPU or SOC architecture, performance tuning and benchmarking tools, transistor device physics, advanced CMOS manufacturing processes, circuit analysis, as well as knowledge of Linux*, UNIX and Windows* environments.
Although we typically hire seasoned pros in our system architect roles, we're committed to helping our interns and employees who have graduated from college to grow and develop themselves and their career. Take that first step to build your career; select View all System Architect Jobs or View Software Jobs to see all the opportunities we have in Software.
