Job Family Overview

Our Linux Kernel engineers design software for silicon devices and platforms running on the Linux family of operating systems. The Linux kernel may be deployed on traditional computer systems (PCs) and servers (Linux distributions and embedded devices).

An Insight into What You'll Do

Our engineers direct the design and development of Linux Kernel software for silicon devices and platforms, ensuring that the silicon and software design are free from defects. We are involved in all elements of the software development lifecycle of the product—working directly with silicon and hardware architects and logic designers to develop architecture for our products.

An Insight into What You'll Bring

We’re seeking candidates with experience in developing Linux kernel and user space drivers and applications, especially Linux kernel internals. You should also have Linux device driver development and debugging experience and be familiar with source code management systems (e.g. GIT/Gerrit) for professional software development.
