Optical Test professionals support the transfer and maintenance of optical transceiver products from New Product Introduction to high volume manufacture.
A career at Intel is about using and developing your skills to achieve amazing possibilities. You will assist with module and system testing, develop test setup and test flow for optical device characterizations, and define test plan and characterize high-speed photo-detectors.
You'll be responsible for testing of various optical and photonic components and subsystems for next generation high-speed silicon photonic products, and you will work closely with component and module design engineers for component characterization, optical sub-assembly testing, and data analytics.
You will also be called upon to perform high-speed receiver subsystem testing, optical loss testing of waveguides, Demux, and fiber-to-chip coupling, as well as optical system testing.
This is your opportunity to work with an exciting emerging technology with brillian minds from around the world. A successful candidate will need to be knowledge in the fields of Optical communication and RF. Hands on working knowledge of optoelectronic and fiber-optics components and assemblies will greatly help you be successful in this role, as well as experience with lasers and photo-detectors and experience with optical and RF testing equipment.
