An Insight into What You'll Do
Our Graphic Architects support all stages of the product lifecycle from research and development of next generation platform designs and supporting validation efforts to improving power and performance of existing designs and solutions.
As a graphic architect, you will:
- Identify and quantify architectural requirements and supporting design and validation efforts throughout the product lifecycle.
- Characterize workloads—identify system bottlenecks, design and model features and configurations that improve product power and performance.
- Work with our software partners to develop highly optimized GPU kernels and improve performance of GPU solutions.
An Insight into What You'll Bring
We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree or advanced degrees in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or Physics. To succeed in this role, you should have knowledge of graphics concepts for 3D media, imaging, and display; hardware and software interfacing skills; and knowledge of parallel programming environments such as TBB, OpenCL, and CUDA. You will also need knowledge of C and C++ scripting and debugging for user and kernel-mode software, machine, deep learning, and computer vision algorithms, simulation or project modeling for performance and power, as well as media and display standards: HEVC, VP9, AVC, HDR, DisplayPort, HDMI, etc.
