An Insight into What You'll Do

As a Software Protocol Engineer, you'll work in an embedded software development environment with RTOS's like Linux/VxWorks, running on high performance IA processors to design, develop and debug advanced protocal stack software. Additional responsibilites may include:
- Work with standards technology development and system engineering to translate 5G communication designs and algorithms into functional prototypes
- Assess risks, identify issues and solutions to timely and efficiently achieve program goals and project objectives
- Drive resolution of technical issues with cross-functional teams escalate issues in an appropriate and timely manner
- Support IODT with critical ecosystem partners
An Insight into What You'll Bring
The best candidates for this role are Cellular Protocol stack software engineers interested in working on prototyping the 3GPP NR compliant L2-L3 PS for IODT with key infrastructure partners. You'll also need to possess strong business verbal and written communication skills, good understanding of software development methodologies and the ability to work in a structured, solution oriented and open minded working environment.
