Analog engineers serve as key engineering team members in roles that define many of our core products from the concept through to quality testing.

An Insight into What You'll Do

In this critical role, you will design, develop, maintain, and provide user support of CAD tools. You will assist with schematic entry and analysis in the integrated circuit design process. And you will create and mobilize computer-controlled automatic test systems. In all of these tasks, your core objectives remain simple yet challenging and critical: to improve quality and reduce costs, helping us to hone our edge as the global leader in silicon innovation. On a regular basis, you will be called upon to:

  • Create custom circuit designs
  • Supervise layout
  • Develop I/O circuit specifications and PHY architecture definitions
  • Respond to customer and client requests or events as they occur
  • Ensure compliance to ESD rules and design, as well as compliance to board/platform/topology specifications

An Insight into What You'll Bring

A successful analog engineering professional at Intel will need experience in several key areas, including:

  • Analog layout techniques, including matching, offset minimization, parasitic optimization and floor planning, combined with experience of deep submicron technologies.
  • DDR or Serial IO technology/protocols and design.
  • Industry standard design software for schematic capture, simulation, layout and physical verification, e.g. Cadence Spectre / Ultrasim / AMS Designer / Virtuoso / Assura or equivalent.
