TMGSP Layout Industrial and Systems Engineer

The TMG Strategic Planning group is a worldwide organization focused on developing the plans and options needed to support the manufacturing engine of Intel's factory network. This position is to fill a senior level Industrial Engineering/Systems Development role that can support enabling new systems that will enable higher resource efficiency within the Layout Team. The selected candidate will partner with TMGSP Layout IE's and Staff to implement systems and data improvements that will increase productivity efficiencies as we nearly double our space/scope over the next few years. This will be a centralized role working with the global Layout Teams and Layout Staff. As a result, the selected candidate will need to demonstrate excellent time management, planning, and teamwork skills.

As the TMGSP Layout Industrial and Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for but not limited to:  

• Sustaining and optimizing existing data pipelines for Layout. This encompasses data transformation, data models, data quality, data security and Power BI model performance.
• Executing improvements to existing data pipelines based on new and improve data sources.
• Writing code and/or scripts that enable the site teams to utilize data more efficiently.
• Monitoring data performance and influencing/modifying the infrastructure as needed.
• Designing and building new data pipeline and structures for layout in accordance with Virtual Factory (VF) needs and providing necessary training to VF members.
• Using all mediums to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders with differing grade levels, experience, and organizational structures.
• Working with Site POC's to ensure new developments meet the business needs.
• Utilizing problem solving techniques and tools to develop clear problem statements. Mapping activities to derive best solutions.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Qualifications

 Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must possess at least one of the 2 following degrees plus the years of experience determined in the areas specified below .

• Bachelor's in Engineering or Computer Systems or a related field of study; OR
• Master's in Engineering or Computer Systems or a related field of study.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering or related role.
• 2+ years of experience in systems development role
• 2+ years of experience in Power BI
• 3+ years of experience in database development
• This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

• Design equipment layouts and workflows
• Project or Program Management
• Process Engineering in high volume factory environment
• CAD or similar design software
• Experience in Facilities Design/Management
• Solve complex problems in a team environment.
• Thrive in highly ambiguous situations.
• Integrate multiple stakeholders with competing priorities
• Quickly summarize and articulate data with a high level of accuracy to drive decisions.
• Display creative/innovative ideas that drive improvements.
