We are looking for a passionate Firmware Development Engineer with great communication skills to work in a team environment to develop firmware for next generation Intel client platforms and technologies.
In this position you will be responsible for designing and developing firmware solutions that initialize Intel client platforms and features, performing design and code reviews, and testing that firmware on pre-silicon and post-silicon client systems (notebooks/desktops). The work you do will be critical to Intel's ability to ship hundreds of millions of client platforms and enable new features and technologies. Will also work closely with hardware/design engineers to debug and troubleshoot issues observed throughout the product life-cycle. Exposure to Intel x86 architecture and firmware development are an added advantage.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or relevant field or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or relevant field.
5+ years of experience in C programming.
5+ years of experience developing UEFI firmware and/or BIOS.
5+ years of experience with client platform (PC) architecture.
Software/firmware debugging tools/technologies/techniques.
Source code management tools (i.e. Github).
