Ethernet IP Planner

Job Description

Join the exciting world of Ethernet Products – creating intelligent data pathways throughout the data center!   This Strategic Planner will own the roadmap and planning for Ethernet IP in service of Intel's Xeon-D and Atom SOC roadmap. Ethernet IP is a critical differentiator in these SOC's representing significant current and future revenue to DPG. A qualified candidate must successfully demonstrate the combination of technical background with business acumen, organizational savvy, skills to "manage up", and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This Strategic Planner will run various IP definition and road-mapping processes, manage cross-divisional stakeholder requirements and priorities, as well as be the one-stop keeper of Ethernet IP POR across multiple DPG organizations.


Qualifications

  • BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field with 10+ years of experience.
  • MBA 5+ years of experience is highly desired.

Demonstrated skills in the following areas:

  • 3+ years in silicon design at Intel or other silicon design company (digital or analog specialty).
  • Proven business acumen in terms of product, product line, or portfolio management experience.
  • Self-paced worker with a creative 'get things done' attitude who requires a minimum amount of direct oversight.
  • Demonstrates skills to influence and collaborate across a multiple, diverse organizations, exercising strong business judgment and ownership of results.
  • Strong program management, data visualization, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Desire to influence Intel's product and technology roadmaps through analyzing and communicating recommendations to Intel senior managers.
