The US Channel Scale and Partner Group sits within SMG and is building an organization to engage the cloud partner ecosystem and grow Intel's relevance, preference, and scale in cloud consumption. We are looking for individuals with a team first, customer obsessed mentality interested in building the cloud sales motions, programs, toolsets, and strategic software/services partnerships to ensure Intel's relevance in a future where cloud is integral to our customer success. Applicants must be adept at collaborating across the organization and ecosystem to build strong internal and external partnerships while engaging technical expertise to deploy cloud solutions based on Intel technology. Applicant must have sales experience and technical acumen with a history of driving results with partners and end customers. Candidates must have sales and cloud experience, technical acumen, knowledge and experience within the cloud ISV ecosystem, and strong a desire to build Intel's future software partnerships. As a commissioned sales partner manager, you will lead engagements with cloud management and optimization solution vendors to develop partnerships, execute cloud sales programs and ultimately drive deployments that improve customer workload and infrastructure performance and lower costs. You will partner on technical engagements to strengthen affinity for Intel solutions and have ownership of pipeline and deal closure to exceed consumption revenue and KPI targets.
This is a highly impactful role that will give you the opportunity to define and execute Intel's cloud consumption strategy thru ecosystem partnerships and with active collaboration with the Global Partner Scale Team, the Data Center Product Group, and other key internal stakeholders. This role will drive short term consumption sales objectives while establishing sustainable and strategic engagements with partners across the ecosystem. As a commissioned cloud partner manager, your responsibilities will include
Driving all sales activities, partner strategy and programs for key cloud and workload management and optimization ISVs; this includes defining overall objectives, partnering with technical resources to define roadmaps and drive optimizations, and establishing partner programs and managing deal pipeline
Driving the adoption and preference for Intel-based cloud infrastructure, cloud services, and cloud solutions.
Engaging and educating senior-level decision makers responsible for determining infrastructure selection and spend and selecting workload placement with cloud providers and on cloud services
Influence partner solution roadmaps based on competitive landscape and customer feedback and engaging intel and partner technical teams to deliver
Establishing collaborations with SI and MSP partners as well as Intel AEs to scale deployments of cloud and workload management solutions and intel optimizers
Lead joint marketing and sales events with partners to grow awareness and pipeline while ensuring investments are efficient and effective
Activities also include, but not limited to, support delivering training, GTM campaigns, Pre-Sales support, POC support, hyperscaler collaborations and marketing partnerships, etc.
As a successful candidate you will demonstrate:
Cross-functional team leadership and adeptness in defining strategic and executing customer and partner engagements to drive measurable results on Intel solutions
Strong customer and partner skills with ability to engage new and legacy partners, own senior relationships, deliver joint programs and solutions, and communicate actively across the org
Acumen of the cloud management and optimization solutions within the cloud as well as Intel's optimizer suite and how they compare. Understanding of solution differentiation with respect to cloud provider alignment, workload and performance awareness, containerization technologies/Kubernetes, etc. Ability to engage with Intel and partner technical teams and offer roadmap guidance based on customer feedback
Strong verbal and written communication as well as presentation and collaboration skills
Desire and initiative to continuously learn, grow and teach others
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
•5+ years of experience with cross-functional team leadership and influence/matrix skills
•5+ years of experience in delivering data center /cloud sales or marketing programs to accomplish joint business objectives and solution selling
•Experience with cloud management and optimization players, solutions, and product offerings within the cloud with a grasp of how intel's products and engineering efforts support the
•Bachelor's degree in relevant technical or business field or equivalent technical knowledge
•Certification from a top US cloud provider preferred; Intel cloud university completion and/or AI champion preferredInside this Business Group
