Job Description

The Path Forward Return to Work program at Intel is a 16-week paid returnship for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking time off for caregiving. The program is open to individuals who have at least 5 years of professional experience and have been out of the paid workforce for at least two years to focus on caring for a child or other dependent. 100% Remote, Folsom for permanent position – This program is 100% virtual during the 16-week returnship program.  Upon successful completion of the program, there is a possibility of an offer for full-time employment. A full-time offer will likely be based out of Folsom, OR.


What You'll Be Doing:

We are hiring Product Development Engineers (PDEs) in digital, analog, systems, power thermal, fuse, and test program integration roles.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years experience -OR- a Masters degree with in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field with experience in VLSI Specialization or Scripting Language Programming such as Perl, TCL or Python.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in: 

  • Graphics 

  • Manufacturing development or pre/post silicon validation 

  • Python programming 

  • Semi-conductor design 

  • Analog circuit design 

Inside this Business Group

Manufacturing and Product Engineering (MPE) is responsible for test development across product segments, supporting 95% of Intel's revenue. We deliver comprehensive pre-production test suites and component/physical debug capabilities to enable high quality, high volume manufacturing.
