In this internship, you will be working alongside a world-class SoC design team within the Xeon Performance Group (XPG) delivering on next-generation Xeon products/IPs for Server markets.
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Ensure the logical design of a microprocessor satisfies the architectural specification
Create and optimize the validation environment, tools and methodologies
Develop or use checking software to compare model behavior against a specification
Generate focused and random test cases, analyzing coverage and debug failure cases
Write software to provide controllability and observability into the architectural model
Analyze microarchitectural features to identify possible problem areas

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ months of experience with:
Digital design and computer architecture
Object-oriented programming
Available to commit to a 6 month on-site internship.

Pre- or post-silicon ASIC verification/validation

$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)
