As a Mechanical Area Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost effective operations of our Leixlip factory, the successful commissioning of transferred technologies for your discipline, and the support of construction ramps. In addition, you will manage employees and/or outside contractors who operate, maintain and improve our facilities systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.

The successful candidate will also be accountable to foster a team culture in which safety, procedural adherence, operational excellence and result orientation are the foundation. As one of our operations leaders, you will be key to develop and grow our relationship with other business groups, such as, FSM, PTD, FCE, etc.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical engineering discipline.


9+ years of experience in:

  • Semiconductors (with at least 5 years of process facilities engineering experience).

  • People management (organizational and employee development).

  • Facilities operations and process technology transfer.

  • Technical knowledge of large site mechanical systems including exhaust and various forms of mechanical abatement systems, HVAC, large scale closed loop water systems, boilers, chillers, compressors and OFA dryers.

  • Technical understanding of environmental compliance legislation and water chemistry.
