Job Description

Come intern with Intel's Power and Firmware Center of Excellence (PFC) on the Server Firmware Team as a Graduate Intern. Intel PFC drives the definition and development of Intel's integrated firmware for all Server SOCs.

Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Developing an automation firmware patch process from the beginning, at the ticket creation, to the final pass to the customer
• Database mapping for database querying Building and distributing the patch.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must be pursuing Master’s Degree OR PhD in Electrical/ Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant degree.

Must have 6+ months experience in the following areas:

• Software/scripting languages in Python or Perl (REST API in Perl)
• Web programming experience such as CGI, flask, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and XML
• EQL/SQL
• Object Oriented Design
• GIT repositories
• Linux command line and scripting
• Text parsing using regular expressions
• Standard programming algorithms

Preferred Qualifications:

• Programming with C/C++
• Experience with Intel Architecture
• Programming of hardware
• Assembly and Ruby desired
• Graphing tools experience, such as Matplotlib
• Basic data visualization and processing

Candidates must be willing to do a 6+ month internship

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00
