You will be a member of the E-Core CPU Design Automation team managing the pre-silicon RTL to Layout VLSI design environment for a high speed CPU. You will work closely with the backend (BE) design engineers as well as engineering compute EC for enablement and support of the BE environment.
Candidate should have experience in:
Enablement of the back end database and flows for E-Core CPU physical design collateral
The setup and support of the user environment for the BE tools and flows
Setup and support of the flow control manager that runs the build and verification tools for BE jobs
Analysis of the content of the BE databases for better storage and faster access
Analysis of the compute and memory usage for the aggregate jobs of the BE flows with the goal of more efficient and effective compute use
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 3+ years of experience or Masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering and 2+ years of experience in:
Data structures
Algorithms
Programming and scripting skills (e.g. C/C++, Perl/Tcl, Python, shell scripting, Linux/Unix, etc)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience related to design automation tools
Knowledge of VLSI physical and logical design as well as VLSI Design Automation tools.
