As the global leader in the semiconductor industry Intel possesses industry leading Solid State Device (SSD) technology and the most capable NAND Flash products. As a Lead Software , you will be part of a world class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.
This position aligns to Phase 2 of the transaction, which includes NAND technology and component development along with fab operations. Employees aligned to Phase 2 will continue to be employed by Intel and will continue to develop NAND technology and components and manufacture NAND wafers at the fab. Phase 2 of the transaction is expected to close in March 2025, at which time employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition employment to SK Hynix.
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products.
Works directly tapeout/ FAB teams to enhance applications software, focuses on enabling and optimization of 3rd party software applications.
Code may be used in a wide variety of tapeout operations and mask shop communication/enhancements for successful qualitative tapeouts resulting in robust NVM products.
Mentors and leads a team of experienced tapeout and software professionals. Usually holds an academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Computational Science.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Electrical Engineering or related discipline
4 years of experience in full stack application development including API's and scripting.
4 years of experience working with SQL databases.
3 years of experience in gathering and prioritizing software requirements.
4 years of experience in Linux operating systems and batch job controls monitoring
4 years of experience with Jira or any other feature management tool
4 years of experience with GIT or SVN repositories to maintain the code library
Preferred skills and experience:
Thorough understanding of Agile environment, scrum and sprints.
Good/Basic understanding of Mask process, data prep and details.
Basic understanding of Wafer manufacturing.
Knowledge of CAD tools and software such as Mentor, Cadence and Synopsys tools is a plus
Familiarity with Layouts, semiconductor devices and Photo -Lithography is a plus
