BIOS Developer Engineer

Job Description

The BIOS Developer Engineer will:

  • Develop platform BIOS reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors
  • Author BIOS specifications creating chipset reference code and develop supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets
  • Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning development and validation stages of the program.

Minimum Qualifications

Master degree's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or any other related discipline

6+ months of experience with:

  • C language
  • C and assembly programming skills with experience with modular software design

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or any other related discipline
  • Experienced at demonstrating improvements in development processes due to technical issues
  • Experience with Intel x86 knowledge baseboard BIOS software development and tools
  • Technical experience with software design development test and documentation
  • Experience in baseboard BIOS UEFI TIANO EDK/EDKII
  • Experience understanding of IA32 platform architecture
