BIOS Engineer

Job Description

The Bios engineer will:

  • Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors.
  • Author BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets.
  • Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.
  • Deliver Server BIOS security Products like ACM, TDX, MKTME, SGX and Secure Boot Technologies

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 3+ years of work experience; OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 3+ years of work experience
  • 3+ years' experience in Firmware Development
  • 3+ years' experience with C language, assembly with security mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experienced at understanding of silicon and platform architecture with experience in system programming and security architecture
  • Experience in server design and implementation of uEFI, TCG, PCIe Specification.
