The datacenter architecture leadership team at Intel is seeking senior architects to build the next gen datacenter SoCs and Products. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly inclusive team with one focus at Intel: the relentless pursuit of architecture innovations to satisfy the needs of next breed of cloud, hyperscale, and enterprise applications.

The solutions developed by this team over the last decade have formed the foundation of modern datacenter architecture and led to rapid growth of both the Intel's datacenter business and fueled the rapid expansion of the cloud.

If you are a self-driven star engineer with the desire to define world changing solutions at the heart the most advanced datacenter silicon that directly translates to multi-billion dollar revenue, this is the place to be!

As a successful candidate, you must possess:

  • Deep knowledge of Client or Server SOCs and embedded controller usages

  • Fundamentals of Embedded controllers (thru development or validation or architecture) is highly desired

  • Ability to formulate architectural requirements into design and validation friendly solutions with clear communication and active engagement through the product life cycle

  • Hands on design and/or validation experience on Complex SOCs (Specifically System Verilog, C/C++ embedded FW development, Pre-si and/or Post-si debug)

  • Must know fundamentals of PCIe Device architecture and operation

  • Knowledge of Platform and SOC Security is highly desired

  • Knowledge of low speed IOs such as SPI, eSPI, SMBUS, UART is highly desired

  • High level Knowledge of Platform/Si boot to OS handoff or a deep understanding of any one of the phases is a plus


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, Master's degree or Phd in Electrical Engineer, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

  • 4+ years of strong SOC architectural experience (experience can also be through design and validation roles), including direct experience with server or client processors

  • 2+ years of experience with product security intricacies, any two of the platform-facing functions (Low speed IOs, BIOS/CPU interactions or Boot/Reset interactions with the platform)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of SOC architecture and its interaction with server/client platform

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,020.00-$195,420.00
