JD: This role requires a general understanding of semiconductor process as it is multidisciplinary job, and needs to work closely with process engineers/Station controller/MES system developers.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop/improve control system to make sure the process can run on the target with enough process margin for wafer manufacturing
Analyzing Statistical process control data to identify new control opportunities
Develop simulation platforms to verify the model and control systems
Implement/debug/test modeling and control algorithms
Project management within cost and time constrained environments
Qualifications
Qualifications and requirements:
Master/Ph.D degree in automation/computer science/control system and other relevant engineering majors
Strong background in modeling, system identification, parameter estimation, frequency response analysis, classical and modern control theory.
Exposure to automated data collection, databases, visualization, quality and efficiency in manufacturing, automated decision control
Good experience in feedback/feedforward control system design for both SISO/MIMO modeling
Knowledge of adaptive control, optimal control, model predictive control (MPC), and advanced process control (APC) highly desirable
Strong skills in modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Python, C/C++
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with SQL programming and databases
Experience in embedded control systems, machine learning, Failure Detection and Classification (FDC) is a plus.
