The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG is looking for phenomenal Senior Level System Architect/Strategic Business Developer to join the Embedded Acceleration business group.
The role is a great individual contributor opportunity for someone who is looking to bring their previous experience in complex digital semiconductor of Test and Measurement segment and help PSG accelerate market share and revenue growth globally in that space.
As a Test and Measurement Business Developer, you will:
Partner with Sales, Engineering, Product Groups and other departments to drive PSG's success in this market
Be responsible for defining the best requirements for solutions to serve this market
Be responsible for developing successful strategy, FPGA value proposition and business results in Test and Measurement applications
Be the in-house expert of the markets and technology trends in this segment
Stay on top of the latest trends that impact PSG's business decisions in those areas, and share those perspectives with the rest of the organization
Ensure highest visibility for PSG's technology in the target segments and ensure that Intel's solutions are preferred by customers
Define segment-specific solutions including demos and reference designs and deliver through the internal Support and Engineering group
Lead early customer engagements and enable the field to successfully engage and win in the marketplace
Strongly support field teams to secure customer commitments, design wins and path to production
Build strong relationships and work directly with end customers to identify opportunities and specify solutions for architectures utilizing FPGAs
Influence the greater PSG and other Intel business units to support the strategies. Communicate internally and externally to inform, gain support and create opportunities.
Your day to day job may include, but not limited to:
Closely work with product planning, customer support and engineering
Collaborate with sales on opportunities, design wins, path to production support
Conduct market research, trends and competitive analysis
Define, develop and deliver strategic business plans
Strategize and build long term relationships with top customers
Drive technology collaboration with customers
Develop emerging technology strategic plan and lead early customer engagements
Influence product development by partnering with product planning and Engineering
Work with other Intel business units
Travel to customers and/or Intel sites as needed
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of working experience in semiconductor or high-tech industry, inclusive of experience with:
Experience with FPGAs and its use models and applications
Experience in a technical business-related role or other related customer facing function (e.g., technical sales, technical marketing, technical business development etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Test and Measurement Industry
MBA
Experience working with industry partners, developers' community and/or customers in a strategic role
