Data Platform Group (DPG)/Fleet and Scale Customer Engineering (FSCE) is looking for a technical leader who is passionate about Data Center Customer Software and Capabilities to be part of an exciting family to help shape our offerings, represent, and to advocate for our Data Center customers. With your customer-facing architectural experiences and influence, you will drive team innovations and capabilities across platform-level products via requirements to enable and differentiate customers' fleet experience, from proof-of-concept to large-scale adoption.
This role involves representing multiple initiatives and working with key stakeholders to execute planning strategies and Lighthouse/Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements for Intel's customers and internal partners.
You will have opportunities to collaborate with technical leaders and build strong partnerships across teams and business units.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Sets direction for programs by determining and balancing the technical need vs business impact of project/product decisions via Roadmap and Product Requirements.
Create / track / adjust the roadmap schedule; assess risks and identify solutions to timely, efficient achievement of capabilities roadmap and Customer intercepts.
Shape solutions produced by Agile scrum-teams, with involvement across all phases of a products lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of Customer capabilities delivered.
Engage with community of technical experts from inside and outside Intel in defining the technical scope and capabilities with Intel partner Organizations and with Customers.
Collaborate cross-Intel with multiple stakeholders and leadership and drive consensus for Data Center business / customers.
Think and act entrepreneurially and lead effectively with high tolerance for ambiguity to anticipate and solve for customer opportunities and problems.
Identify customer pains points, validating hypothesis, problem-solution fit, developing value propositions, and defining a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
Play a critical role in scoping, presenting and driving fast-paced At Scale, Data Center environment software capabilities for Customers across Cloud Service Providers, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), System Integrator (SI)/Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum 8+ years of experience in:
Software, product management, engineering and/or other customer-facing technical software solutions function.
Experience in customer-facing technical architectural role.
Experience with software engineering, systems engineering, and/or CPU/Memory enabling of new customer experiences.
Competency in Data Center, Cloud/Software As A Service (SaaS) and/or Data related technologies.
Experience in software orchestration and containerization.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal required.
Experience in system and platform health solutions for HVM and at-scale environments.
Experience and working knowledge in systems microarchitecture, memory / Optane, I/O, power management, hardware crypto.
Lean startup and Agile product development experience.
Fluency or working level proficiency in Mandarin preferred.
