Field Application Engineer - Software
This is a commissioned position. Responsible for giving product presentations to the customer describing how Intel products provide the optimum solution to their application. Develop a clear understanding of Intel's business practices including forecasting, T/Cs, Distribution and Business Code of Ethics. During customer's product design, responsible for design assistance including onsite visits to examine customer problems and provide suggestions on optimal ways to use Intel products. Manage relationships between Intel and customers by establishing relationships with key individuals at accounts. Identify and develop new opportunities within accounts. Give product demonstrations and execute benchmarks to show product capabilities and ease of use. Understand competitor's strengths and weaknesses relative to the appropriate technical strategy. Communicate strategies to appropriate field and factory personnel to obtain required support and coordination. Assist the customer throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of the product. Provide timely feedback to the factory on product and strategy issues to ensure the Intel is capable of responding to and/or anticipating changes needed to maintain success.
This Edge AI App Enabling Engineer who would be working closely with the customers, understand their software requirements, and help them to optimize their AI applications by using offerings from Intel. He/She should be able to own and enable applications for the customers assigned. The role requires co-ordination between customer and internal product development teams.
Role and Responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in the hands-on programming of embedded systems and heterogeneous multi-core architectures which consist of both programmable devices and hardware accelerators. The activity typically results in the integration of key computer vision, neural network, and image processing algorithms onto different Intel architectures.
Assist in providing technical support for one or many products and/or product family. Participating in new product development, representing the customers technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing, and presenting technical product training materials

� Proficiency in C++ and Python
� Exposure to open source computer vision technologies
� Knowledge of ML/DL and frameworks like TensorFlow and Pytorch
� Hands-on experience in OpenVINO toolkit is highly preferred
� Should have worked in Linux and Windows operating systems
� Experience in embedded systems and Intel architecture
� Knowledge on virtualization like Dockers, Containers and VMs is a plus
� Well versed with SDLC processes like traditional and agile methodologies
