This is a commissioned sales position. Responsible for managing the relationship between Intel and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals at accounts. With accelerated codification we want to nurture and incubate growth markets and business models. To set up collaborative frameworks to accelerate near term and long term sales enablement in support of SMG actions in the space of Edge to Cloud approach across all of Intel's business groups.
The Business Development Manager ( BDM) position will primarily work on End to End technology and solution architecture in a practical, customer facing environment. The role is partner facing and the BDM will be heavily involved in supporting technology planning components of joint sales acceleration efforts with OEM's, ODM's SI's and other eco-system partners. Key activities will involve Edge to Cloud solution architecture development in key growth verticals, supporting PoC engagements In Surveillance, Smart Education, BFSI etc. Developing solutions requirement documentation in support of organizing cross Intel support and partner support is critical. The BDM will look to maximize Intel content in solutions via workload consolidation supporting customer requirements. Understanding and communicating the benefits of Intel technology is across the portfolio in an easy to understand manner is essential, especially as it pertains to mapping Intel ingredient technology benefits into partner collateral.
An additional facet that the role will encompass relates to accelerating data platforms / data monetization efforts. In this capacity, the candidate would be working across organizations to support Intel wide strategic planning efforts.

� Working with key partners; understanding and influencing customer's product/solution architecture, to align and deliver the Intel Value to their business needs.
� Helping customers solve complex problems by innovation and breakthrough architectures using Intel's roadmap offerings.
� Supporting customer design wins, creating Proof-of-Concepts, defining new form factors and modular products to scale in the market.
� Capturing and authoring the PRD (Product Requirement Document). Defining the use conditions and key system requirements for IoT devices and End to End Solutions. Creating solution architecture and reference design maximizing Intel share of wallet. Driving solution development engagement with internal and external vendors (from RFP to SOW). Providing competitive analysis and performance benchmark as required to support the above documents.
� Responsibilities include design, implementation, and operation of POCs as well as low-level technology validation based on pre-production hardware and software platform ingredients from Intel and ISVs.
� Customer facing experience is required.
� Engineering degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related.
� Graduate and advanced degree/s a plus. 10 years of experience in relevant sectors
� MBA / business background a plus
� Deep understanding of technical solution landscape; able to architect and envision a practical architectural approach for real life PoC's.
� Hardware/software development experience and broad technical ability across different computing architectures, technology, networking and cloud infrastructure to be able to develop end to end solutions.
� Knowledge of the Intel products
� Proven experience to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary, matrix structured, and customer focused environment.
