Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its High-Level Design (HLD) team. The HLD team develops a compiler, written in C++, to allow software engineers to target their C program onto Intel's specialized hardware (FPGAs).
 

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team building an automated, modern development infrastructure that is robust and can scale to support our software development operation. You will:

  • Lead improvements to developer productivity through the building of scripts, tools, and other services

  • Build and maintain tools needed during build, test and release cycles, to a diverse set of environments

  • Design & build high-performant, reliable systems which scale effectively as the solutions grow, taking advantage of cloud technology

  • Work closely with development teams to improve workflows around build, test, and deployment of software products


Qualifications

Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Minimum Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a DevOps and/or Software Development role or 1+ year of related experience with a Master’s or PhD.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps and/or Software Development

  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud computing, containerization
