Game Industry Analyst - Undergrad Intern

Job Description

Do you want to help Intel find the next big hit games?

Intel's Game Solutions Team (GST) is looking for an intern to identify the next breakout games using Intel tools and researching publicly available information about the game industry. As an intern, you will be working closely with Intel technical, marketing, business, and account management teams to identify up-and-coming games and the technologies used to build the game (e.g., Game Engine, Graphics API). The information you collect will be put into Salesforce, where the data can be shared with other Intel Stakeholders.

This internship involves understanding how games are made, Intel Hardware (HW) technology that enables excellent gaming experience, how Intel markets games showcase Intel technologies and how Intel tracks the opportunities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

***This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.  Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related  job experience.  This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience.***  
 

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Business Administration or closely related field with and maintaining a minimum of 3.0 GPA

3+ months of experience with:

  • Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

3+ months experience with/in:

  • Conducting research for a Business and Intelligence team, including competitive analysis of industry news and events
  • The game developer industry and the tools used to make games
  • PC gaming hardware

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)
