Software Development Engineer

Job Description

Do you want to work on creating the next Exascale system to help the HPC community get to that level of performance for both the hardware and software solution? Would you like to help with solving the worlds problems on one of the largest systems in existence?

We are working on creating the next level of software to work with Intel's Exascale Computing System Aurora.

The team is working on defining and delivering next generation software ecosystem and tools that will be used to deliver the next generation of applications to help solve real world problems.

You will need to be ready and willing to work in a very fast paced environment with highly skilled team members all around you. In addition to your Intel team, you will be working directly with the government labs on their needs for this system and levels of performance.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

  • 3 + years experience in: linux/Unix administration including networking, clustering, slurm administration, Intel hardware, troubleshooting of a dynamic SW system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in: ssh, security, windows systems, automation of system deployment, scripting languages.
