Responsible for designing, writing, revising and/or editing of technical and/or promotional papers (i.e., application papers, product descriptions, catalogs, manuals/guides, commercial applications, brochures, product articles, etc.). Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage. Information may be produced on hard copy or electronic medium. Performs tasks related to the construction of technical and non-technical illustrations and graphics. Attends planning/coordination meetings to assess customer requirements.
At Intel, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you'll be involved in overseeing preparation of illustrative material, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts, supporting slide/video production, serving as editor on specific publications including article selection, artwork coordination, productions and distribution. Also, you may assist in preparation and layout of work for publication. Individuals act as internal experts, consultants, and program/project managers and represent the corporation to external groups, agencies, and vendors.

Candidates must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Education
Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering-related field (Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Software/Hardware Engineering, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years in an Engineering role
2+ years of Writing or Technical Writing experience
1+ year of experience with professional authoring tools (i.e. OxygenXML Author, Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)
1+ year of experience researching technical topics
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with DITA Authoring
