The Intel Cloud.U Team, as part of the DCG Sales Group, is chartered with enabling world class cloud competencies for our global sales force and partner community in order to deliver and maintain a competitive advantage for Intel.
As a critical role in the Intel Cloud.U program, the Sr. Curriculum Strategist is responsible for the overall course objectives, strategy and direction, working with key subject matter experts (SMEs) and the Cloud.U program management team to deliver, refresh and evolve the course with accountability for quality and impact.
A successful candidate responsibilities may include:
Ideation, strategy, and execution of major series of modules and courses for Intel Cloud.U program – This role owns Level 1 Cloud Fundamentals Series.
Develops new courses and/or conducts formal professional technical training for engineers and technicians in company and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) engineers.
Determines course content and student learning objectives, prepares course syllabi, lesson plans, and student manuals.
Evaluates training materials and procedures and makes or recommends revisions to keep courses UpToDate. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
Continued learning certifications, such as: AWS (Amazon Web Services) Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.
Good relationship building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel, partners, and customers.
Hands-on code and systems set-up, configure, and implement to showcase and implement cloud infrastructure in public or on-premise.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum 6 years of experience in a technical solutions or technical products role within a medium to large organization with a strong track record of selling, influencing, supporting technical cloud implementations
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical degree
-6+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
Experience as a Principal Cloud [Solutions] Architect, Cloud [Software] Systems Engineer, Customer Solutions Engineer [Cloud / Data, Analytics/AI] or combination of experience as DevOps Engineer, Data Architect, Cloud/SaaS Software Developer with hyperscale CSPs, GSIs and key market influencers.
Experience leading, developing, or implementing high-quality enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle
Significant Enterprise IT and/or Cloud services experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on software development, operations, DevOps engineering, or systems architecture, preferably at a large-scale CSP, with experience across the following areas:
Cloud Solutions such as Azure/Azure Stack, Amazon Web Services/Outposts, Google Cloud/Anthos, Alibaba/Tencent/Baidu cloud, VMware Cloud Foundation/Tanzu, IBM Cloud/CloudPaks, Salesforce, Oracle Cloud, Rackspace.
Software Defined Network (SDN), Network Function Virtualization (NFV), OpenStack Neutron and Switch Networking Solutions such as those from Cumulus, Big Switch, and SONiC.
Software-defined Storage (SDS), HDFS, Lustre FS, Block, Object, OpenStack Cinder, Swift, Ceph, and Swordfish, NVMe over fabric.
Container Orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, Amazon ECS, Apache Mesos, Azure Container Service, and Google Container Engine.
Linux experience: Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, OpenStack middleware open source implementations, or similar
