As part of Intel’s Data Platform Group, the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Strategic Product Planning Group plays a key role in partnering and influencing strategic deliverables throughout the organization.
The Strategic Software Planner role requires a combination of business acumen, organization savvy, networking capabilities and expertise in certain technical areas. The Strategic Planner runs certain strategic process, visits customers, and influences the organization via these processes. Activities include running component, ingredient, platform or initiative POPs, competitive analysis, market analysis, and participating in multiple strategic task forces.
Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research, relevant job and/or internship experiences. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of total experience in a semiconductor or related role experience (e.g. related to FPGA, ASIC, Hardware, Software, EDA) inclusive of:
Experience with FPGA development flows and software solutions across the various applications and markets
Experience interacting with customers
Experience as an EDA Software Planner
EDA, System, and/or Design experience with FPGAs, ASICs (eg. Solution architect, System Engineer, FPGA ASIC design engineer, Applications Engineer, Field Applications Engineer, etc.)
Experience in architecting FPGA based solutions for an end market application
