Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

The Intel Architecture, Graphics, and Software (IAGS) Parallel Runtimes Engineering (PRE) Fabrics team is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help design, optimize, and enable open source HPC/AI middleware and low level communications.

 
 


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work/ classes/ research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's with 6+ years or master’s with 4+ years or Ph.D. with 2+ years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or mechanical engineering or computation science or Physics and Mathematics  or a related discipline

6+ years of software development experience including the areas listed below

  • Software development experience for Linux-based operating systems
  • Strong experience with C/C++, bash scripts programming, RPC, and sockets
  • Solid knowledge on computer architecture, operating system, distributed systems, and networking
  • Experience with HPC or cloud services in data center
  • 1+Experience with networks and clusters for distributed processing (Data Center Ethernet, InfiniBand, RoCE, iWARP, or Omni-Path is highly valued)

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Specific knowledge of datacenter processor architecture, notably datacenter interconnect and interface architecture and APIs.
  • Experience with ISA, memory models, and IO subsystems (PCIe, CXL) is highly valued.
  • Experience with various GPUs, accelerators, and high speed fabrics is highly valued.
  • Specific knowledge of Linux RDMA subsystem programing interfaces for high-speed clusters.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,020.00-$195,420.00
