This is a commission based Technical Sales Specialist position within Intel's Sales & Marketing Group / Data Center Group organization. If you are a technologist who prides yourself in looking for exciting next-generation opportunities on the front edge of change, this role is for you.
With technical expertise, the Optane TSS (Technical Sales Specialist) is responsible for influencing and enabling end user customers, ISVs, OEMs, partners to implement Optane solutions by adopting Intel's products and technologies.
Responsibilities may include:
Working closely and advising and influencing focused set of Enterprise, Government, Telco and Cloud Service provider end user customers.
Evaluate and discuss the Optane technical merits, develop ROI /TCO models and co-own relationships with customer/partner decision makers to influence the customers purchasing decision.
Collaborate with various stakeholders both internal and external to accelerate adoption of Optane solution through successful delivery and the orchestration of PoCs, Workshops and Pre-Production Pilot implementations with customers and partners of Intel.
Provide direct technical assistance to customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. Technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.
Be the point of contact within the ITS/Intel technical sales teams for all Optane related support.

Solid understanding of key HW and SW trends within data centers related to Virtualization/Software-Defined Data Centre, Big Data Analytics, Database, Application Middleware, HPC, IOT, Machine Learning, Storage and Networking trends as well as general IT applications and Legacy IT.
Experienced in specifying Compute, Storage, and Network hardware platforms based upon workload dimensioning, sizing and performance characterization.
A solid understanding of Intel data center product lines server, storage, and software.
Excellent remote working presence including strong time-management and organizational skills, ability to continuously prioritize tasks in a very interrupt-driven environment including customer design win pipeline management.
Experience selling Cloud Solutions - Public, Private, Hybrid.
Knowledge of Software-Defined Infrastructure Solutions for Compute, Storage, Networking, Enterprise Segments.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, Electrical Engineer, or any related field.
5+ years of demonstrable experience in technical solutions sales including Storage/Memory expertise
The candidate will be required to travel approx. 50% of the time.
