Come join Intel Optane group a division of Intel Data Platform Group DPG. We, the persistent memory architecture team, have delivered two generations of world’s first Persistent Memory Modules(DCPMM) for servers and are striving to deliver innovative next generation persistent and hybrid memory products, technologies and solutions.  We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Power and Performance Analysis Engineer. You will join a architecture team that is focused on the architecting solutions through continuous improvement and data driven engineering. You will be involved in hand-on development of use-cases, workloads hardware models and automation. You will also perform power and performance measurement, correlation and analysis of computer systems and identify potential optimizations at component and system level.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following behavioral traits

  • Strong analytical problem solving skills and attention to details

  • Creative and motivated to deliver results

  • Ability to collaborate with pre and post silicon performance engineers across organization.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Must be pursuing MS or Phd Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or Computer Science

6+ months in combination of advanced course work or experience in

  • Computer and Memory architectures and system design

  • Programming, SW design and development

  • Empirical models, measurements and data analysis


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Python, Scripting, C/C++, R, and database

  • Experience in server/client workloads and use-cases (Native/VM)

  • Experience in Power/Performance models/simulators, monitoring and visualization tools

$52,000.00-$147,000.00
