Pre-Si Design Verification Engineer

Job Description

As a pre-Si design verification engineer, you´ll be responsible to develop and drive pre-Si validation for varied IP, sub-system, SOC level validation.

  • Create test plan for RTL validation, build test bench architecture, develop functional validation tests, and come-up with test methodology.
  • Create and own schedules.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, design, SOC validation, system validation and Firmware/software teams for platform level debug.
  • You may have the opportunity to provide technical leadership and direction to junior validation engineers in the group.
  • Assist Pre-Silicon Verification team in developing Test plan and test coverage.
  • Review the coverage reports from regression tests and provide feedback to design/verification team.
  • Participate in the development of Architecture specifications for the Logic/Val components.
  • Provide IP integration support to SoC customers.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in engineering with 3+ years of experience in IP/SS/SOC pre-Si validation.
  • Advanced knowledge Verilog, SystemVerilog and UVM concepts.
  • Advanced English level.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proficiency in shell and Perl scripting, Python, Shell scripting skills a plus.
