Hardware Engineer

Job Description
This position will be responsible for enabling customers to develop Intel IA-based client modern PCs (Notebook, 2-in-1s, convertibles, etc) designs before and post launch. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Participating in new product development, representing the customers technical needs, creating competitive analysis from a technical perspective, developing and presenting technical product training materials - Providing customer design reviews, design technical support, customer issue management including triage/debugging/resolution till closure - Closely working with the field account team to support customer design-win and design-in visits as well as on-site technical support travels - Individuals act as technical experts, consultants, analysts, and program managers for customer enablement - Liaising with 3rd party device vendors/suppliers for technical supports to Intel peripheral device related designs and customer enablement requirement - Collaborating with back-end development engineering teams for customer product development feedback to Intel reference designs and Intel engineering support to final customer issue resolution - Owning creation and maintenance of component and platform collaterals and application notes


Candidates should possess a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with more than 7 years of relevant electrical hardware development experience or a Master with more than 5 years of relevant electrical hardware development experience. Additional qualifications include: - Experience in ARM or IA based platform motherboard design and issue debug - Experience with components including memory, eMMC, NVMe, eDP, HDMI, USB, I2C, MIPI DSI, integrated graphics and power management architectures - Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional and/or cross-geography project teams - Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills in English - Strong problem solving and debug skills - Customer technical support experience is highly desirable - Knowledge of Windows OS would be an added advantage
