Minimum qualifications: - B. Tech in CS/EE/EC with 4+ years or M. Tech with 2+ years of software development experience. - Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming, especially in developing multi-core or multi-threaded software. - Strong developer level knowledge of Linux/other operating system. - Strong networking/protocol concepts. - Good problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multisite team. - Self-starter with ability to follow up and close opens. Preferred skills: - Linux kernel/user space Device driver development - Development experience in DPDK - Experience in optimizing software for performance, scalability, security. - Networking technologies and protocol stacks e.g. Ethernet, TCP/IP. - Virtualization technologies and developing in a virtualized environment. - Good understanding of Intel Architecture/x86 or other multi-core processor. - Open Source Software Development. - Agile Software development methodology experience. - Source control management tools e.g. GIT. - Experience with quality assurance tools e.g. Gerrit
