Job Description

This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK Hynix. (You can read more about the transaction in the press release - The transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage solutions, including client and enterprise SSDs, in the rapidly growing NAND Flash space amid the era of big data.

This is an exciting time to be at Intel - come join our Data Center NAND Division as a NPSG Employee Enrichment Program Manager and work on the most advanced 3DNAND and SSD technology in the world. As the global leader in the semiconductor industry, Intel possesses industry-leading SSD technology and the most capable Triple Level Cell (TLC) and Quadruple Level Cell (QLC) NAND Flash products. As a NPSG Employee Enrichment Program Manager, you will be part of a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK Hynix.

This position aligns to Phase 1 of the transaction, which includes the 3DNAND enterprise and client SSD business. Phase 1 is expected to close in late 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions. At deal close, all employees aligned to this phase of the transaction will transition to SK Hynix.

Beginning Summer 2021, Join Intel's NAND Products and Solutions Group (NPSG) two-year rotation program. This is a two-year rotation program and will include three eight-month rotations within the NPSG organization helping participants to find their desired career path. This exciting program offers participants a unique opportunity to experience multiple roles and teams, gain exposure to different areas of the business, and build their professional network.
This two-year program features challenging rotations that offer exposure to the company's product portfolio, business processes and access to our internal network of professionals.
Program participants go through three rotation assignments, eight months each, to learn about the organization through engaging with the business units, product development lifecycle, validation process, customers, and communications. You will experience different stages of technical programs and discover where your aptitude and passions can be maximized to deliver value to the company.

Rotation work and responsibilities may include:

  • Responsible for learning basics of Intel's memory products, technologies, business processes

  • Build robust NPSG acumen with exposure across product development and validation

  • Work with project stakeholders turning product requirements into development and validation plans

  • Coordinate priorities and activities with other engineering stakeholders to accomplish committed milestones

  • Embedded development techniques using hardware and firmware tools

  • Structured software development and practices, analytical problem solving, innovation and a mindset of continuous improvement

  • Perform failure analysis and debug customer issues

  • Perform project management for your assigned projects

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have a BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field

  • Minimum 6+ months of experience in Embedded programming (C, C++ or Python)

  • Minimum 1 internship or relevant work experience technology development

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ months of experience in the following areas:

  • Probability and statistics

  • Statistics Software JMP Minitab or similar

  • Computer programming

  • Basic understanding of Agile/Kanban methodologies
