Our mission is to design software tools and supporting content to enable software developers to have great experiences in optimizing computing performance with Intel products. We're looking for user experience (UX) professionals with experience with a technical audience or computer science graduates with a human-compute interaction (HCI) background to join our team in the Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software organization.
This position will provide opportunities to engage a variety of skills in areas such as usability research, journey mapping, workflow analysis, technical learning material, experience metrics, and user interface design. We work in cross-functional teams with innovators in UX, software architecture and development, and marketing. Qualifications
You must possess the following minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Experience listed below could be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
2+ years of software UX work for any technical end-user audience (e.g., developers, administrators), including interviews, usability testing, workflow design, and/or interaction design
Qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis experience
Experience with end-to-end product design
Experience with a wireframe prototyping tool
Flexibility for a dynamic work environment with evolving priorities
Experience working on cross-functional teams with designers, tech writers, technical leads, and/or business leads
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills in English
Desirable qualifications:
Master's degree in HCI, human factors engineering, psychology, computer science with HCI, or related field
High proficiency with a wireframe prototyping tool
Experience with leading research design and planning
2+ years of UX work for software developer audiences, including interviews, usability testing, and workflow design
Experience with software coding or scripting, including Web, maker tools, analytics tools
2+ years of experience with Web-based UI usability and design
Experience with large dataset analysis and Web analytics
