A Facilities Engineer System Owner plays a significant role owning specialized discipline facilities systems in a high-tech manufacturing and non-manufacturing facility. Our Facilities Engineer System Owners make a big impact - delivering operational efficiency, maintenance, testing and commissioning solutions; effective collaboration with construction and operations teams. They write procedures, perform capacity analysis, and request and manage funding request for projects ranging from increasing capacity to improving efficiency. The Facilities Engineer System Owner will research, refine, and implement changes to the discipline systems they own.

In this position, you will be part of our CS Facilities Operations team and will own, sustain, improve and develop new technologies for the site UPW system. A Facilities UPW engineer is expected to provide engineering support to maintain and improve equipment and system uptime. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve existing system efficiency and reliability, and expected to understand and keep track of your system maintenance. As a Ultra Pure Water (UPW) engineer you will own and operates Ultrapure water systems that include UPW, High Efficiency Reverse Osmosis (HERO), Polished, Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP), Soft Water Systems (SWS), Litho UPW (LUPW), Reverse Osmosis Product (ROP), Reverse makeup and recycled UPW system. Also own Industrial Water (IW) and City Water.
As a Facilities Engineer - UPW your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Own the health of the facilities equipment including all preventative, corrective maintenance, and projects they own.
Operating and maintaining industrial wastewater treatment and purification systems, which support our operations facilities.
Performing routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures.
Resolving and implementing solutions for the system they own utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues.
Job plan development for preventative maintenance or corrective maintenance.
Utilizing Maximo Maintenance planning software.
Commissioning new UPW systems, including FAT/OAT document review and implementation, startup support and training delivery. Performing system acceptance for newly installed equipment.
Developing system concepts and conducting design reviews for construction projects or system enhancements for the systems they own.
Responding to stakeholder, customer and factory requests or events as they occur.
Role modeling safety.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with +1 years of relevant job or internship experience in areas such as facilities water systems, chemical engineering principles, including chemical piping, neutralization, filtration, pumps, valves, flow calculations, and chemical analytical testing, or a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) Registration or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is highly desired.
1+ years of Demonstrated application of sound engineering principles and technical problem-solving.
