As a Facilities Electrical Group Area / Technical Coordinator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and execute the Groups Major Maintenance Activities, Reliability Projects and Hi Risk Electrical Switching Activities.

  • Prepare and present technical documentation, including detailed Before Action Reviews.

  • Be the Groups Technical Liaison between CS Area Manager, Electrical Engineers, CS Senior. Management and OTF Factory Management.

  • Act as the Electrical Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Electrical Process Transfer functions for F12/22/23/42.

  • Serve as groups representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution during detailed design and construction activities.

  • Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing, and commissioning solutions; identify, qualify, and implement system upgrades; provide technical leadership to 3rd party support and participate in cross site teams.

  • Review and approve equipment designs supporting the facility, effective collaboration with Project Managers and Project Engineers, architects, engineers and contractors on new construction/renovation projects.

  • Reviewing design specifications, submittals, studies and drawings; possessing thorough knowledge of facilities equipment, review and challenge cost estimates, budgets and ROI analysis.

  • Help maintain the facilities document control system by ensuring electrical as-built drawings are incorporated into the master CAD drawings.

  • Ensure systems models are up to date and all construction specifications, as-builts, O and M manuals and submittals are received after project close out.

  • Help maintain and organize the document control storage area for fast retrieval of information (drawings, specifications, manuals, etc.).

  • Work closely with Project Engineers, contractors and engineers on project design and close out documentation.

  • Coordinate and oversee work of external consultants.

  • Provide projects and sustaining engineering coordination support at our facilities.

  • Act as CS OC Facilities Technical / Area Coordinator for the site's electrical distribution system.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have at least 1 of the following:

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience or a Master's degree in engineering or a related field with 4+ years of experience in facilities operations.

  • Military service with 3+ years of work experience in facilities operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of working knowledge of in the maintenance, design, and/or operation of electrical switchgear, transformers, diesel generators, static/rotary UPS, and low voltage distribution equipment.

  • 4+ years of planning, coordinating and executing maintenance in a facilities or military environment.

  • 4+ years of working knowledge of facilities related equipment maintenance, design, and/or operation. This includes engineering modeling, reviewing equipment drawings and submittals, troubleshooting facilities equipment issues, implementing protective device coordination studies, and load flow analysis.

  • 4+ years of practical knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • 4+ years of experience communicating tactical concepts across a wide range of employees; engineering peers to operational technicians to management.

  • Project Management Professional Certification a plus.
