Test Engineering Student Worker

Job Description

This opportunity is for a candidate that is currently studying, working towards a relevant Bachelors degree from an academic institute. In this position you will be joining the Test Engineering organization for Costa Rica Factory. There you will learn and perform a wide variety of engineering activities like: equipment sustaining, develop and sustain process control systems, perform hardware-software upgrades, perform quality assurance yield and defects per million and safety tasks.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work classes research and-or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be an active student and have at least 50% of career pursuing a Bachelors /Licenciatura or Master Degree in Computer Science Electronic, Electrical Mechanical OR related engineering fields.
  • Intermediate English level.
  • Must have permanent unrestricted right to work in Costa Rica.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Problem Solving Methodologies and Data analysis, JMP, SQL, pathfinder, others.
  • Data analysis using Excel, JMP or Power Query.
  • Coding, Scripting, Perl, Python, Windows, batch file, C and C desirable for general culture but not critical.
  • UNIX, Linux experience, SQL query experience on SQL server.
  • LEAN and Six Sigma Knowledge.
