Our design team is responsible for managing the system power for client and server chipsets. As a member of the design team, you will work closely with firmware/hardware architects and developers to define and develop firmware for embedded microcontrollers. Your primary responsibilities will include: an analysis of current hardware and firmware design processes; development and deployment of solutions to optimize the methodologies, tool sets, and operational procedures to ensure firmware is developed and validated to the highest quality levels, with optimal efficiency. Your influence will cross organizational boundaries with our manufacturing and validation partners. Your experience and leadership will influence a team of skilled developers on this next generation software platform.
Candidate must have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree with 15+ years of relevant experience in C++ software development.
Industry experience in technical leadership, training, design automation, configuration management, continuous integration, Linux and scripting languages (Python, Perl), system power management, and embedded systems programming are plus factors in considering candidates.
