Cyber Security Infrastructure Engineer student

Job Description
A candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant degree from a relevant academic institute. A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department. The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into an College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate. Who are we? InfoSec team develops the Information Security strategic imperative to provide the critical capabilities that Intel needs to protect our people, apps, content and devices while simultaneously allowing the business to run faster than it does today. The Cyber Security Engineer student will be responsible for the planning, design, and build of security infrastructure capabilities; drives product implementation, prioritize security controls deployment and ensures compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies. Configure the security controls to the appropriate service levels, define and monitor product SLA and health indicators. The Engineer will be part of an Agile Scrum team and be expected to support, improve and grow this infrastructure to enhance Intel's security posture. Work with customers and stakeholders to solve product issues improver performance and reduce legacy technical debt as well as increase automation and CI/CD. Configures and installs firewalls and intrusion detection systems.


Qualifications Pursuing B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information systems/ Computer Science/Software Engineering/ Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 semesters until graduation Willing to work 2.5 days a week in parallel to the studies. Experience and knowledge of enterprise Network Security environments: Network protect/access: Must: : FW, IPS/IDS, FW Rules Analysis and Reporting -Tufin - an advantage DNS/DHCP Remote access: VPN Advantage: ACLs, VLANs, F5 experience or similar, NAC, Proxy management. Network Analysis and Reporting . Splunk - an advantage. Script writing for automation and integration -Python, PowerShell etc. Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organization in both Hebrew and English. Able to learn new technologies quickly and apply standard engineering/development practices Passionate aboutinformation security Very organized, details oriented Independent and highly motivated Strong team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively withteams Excellent communication and presentation skills, both at Hebrew and English Preferred Experience with both relational and non-relational database management systems Experience with enterprise storage, backup and restore capabilities Experience working within a DevOps and Agile APT environment is an advantage.
