Software Tools Developer

Come and join Intel! We are seeking highly qualified Software Tools Developers to join our world class Ethernet Product Group (EPG) under Connectivity Group. You will join a best-in-class software tools automation and lab team where you will be responsible for the determination and deployment of robust, stable, and manageable computing and network services. You will manage technical projects, determine site computing, and network server strategy. You will research new technology/ products/ tools and monitor and perform capacity/feasibility studies and resolve network capacity issues. You will help identify, develop, and deploy tools supporting network server services while performing impact analysis of new technologies on environment. Analyze and troubleshoot complex and advanced problems. Plan and schedule work to meet deadlines established by others to ensure the completion of several related tasks. Use judgement in data analysis to develop and design solutions for moderately complex processes.

In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, it will include but not limited to:

• Partnering closely with development and validation engineers to understand requests and how they translate into application tool automation features
• Collaborating with a team of engineering professionals to set specifications for and developing new applications tools and automations
• Writing high quality source code to develop enhance and or fix applications tools automations within deadlines
• Performing code reviews functional and nonfunctional unit and integration testing before launch release
• Troubleshooting and debugging issues
• Evaluating existing applications to reprogram refactor, updating and or adding features to improve functionality performance and or efficiency
• Developing technical documents and training for users and developers
• Working under tight time constraints and be able to prioritize accordingly
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Math or related field of study

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in one or more languages (e.g. Python, C, C#, Java, or JavaScript)
• 3+ years of experience working and developing in Linux and or Windows
• 3+ years of experience working within an agile environment and understand agile methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with DevOps methodologies, such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps
• Familiar with REST API
• Familiar with SQL or other Database tools
• Familiar with Ansible or similar capabilities
• Familiar with lab automation and tools
