Marketing Specialist (temporary)

Job Description

The datacenter is going through unprecedented levels of innovation. Intel's Data Platforms Group (DPG) drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power nine of every 10 servers sold worldwide.

The Intel Optane Group (IOG) is in the Data Platforms Group and is responsible for the development and commercial success of Intel Optane Persistent Memory technology and Intel Optane SSD technology. As part of this initiative, the IOG Product Marketing team is looking for a results-oriented, customer-obsessed marketing communications specialist. This role will be responsible for traditional marketing and communications processes, trademark, branding and legal reviews of marketing and technical content, internal and external partner repository management, collaboration site design and maintenance and overall content management systems.

A successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Complete internal content repository refresh including content migration, page redesigns, and establishment of comprehensive content management process that includes trademark, branding and legal reviews.

  • Complete content mapping across Salesforce sale stages aligned with other sales enablement tools roll out

  • Complete IOG training site redesign

  • Manage approvals, feedback, and input from multiple stakeholders.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated project management skills including effective planning, organizing, stakeholder management, and administration of work responsibilities.

  • A proven track record of collaborating with others to get results

  • Good problem solving and excellent verbal communication skills

  • Pro-active and self-motivated

  • Comfortable negotiating and resolving issues with diplomacy and persuasiveness

  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Strong capability in website development and tool design

This position is for a 3-year temporary contract.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field

  • 5+ years of marketing, advertising, or communications experience

  • This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • User experience (UX) design

  • SharePoint and Wiki development experience

  • Basic web development skills
