Software Validation Engineer

Job Description
Software Validation Engineer will be focusing on validating Intel PSG's FPGA OneAPI implementation in a system level environment. Your specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Developing and test FPGA OneAPI test including all of the FPGA SYCL API is conforming to the required functionality. Writing direct testing test cases of various use case of OneAPI in an FPGA system. Developing system level tests and necessary coverage goals based on API specification. Performing KPI testing to make sure that the api are meeting the needed performance. Ensuring that the release package level testing is performed to meet the required OneAPI program level milestones and the required test coverage at each milestone. Able to apply shift left methodologies to develop test coverage earlier such as simulation and emulation. Provide program level update to the greater OneAPI FPGA development team and also into the larger OneAPI program office across various sites. Technical leadership is expected to support a culture of idea generation, proliferation and innovative solutions to complex problems.


-Successful candidate's qualifications should include the following: Bachelor's/Masters in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with experience in software/firmware verification/validation. -Familiarity with heterogenous compute DPC++, SYCL or parallel execution processing is a plus. -Familiarity or experience in Intel Quartus design software is a strong plus. -Experienced with scripting language such as Python/Perl/TCL/shell scripts and OS such as Windows/Linux. -Exceptional analytical, problem solving and communication skills, initiative, promote innovation and teamwork. Self-motivated and ability to excel in a team environment.
