At Intel Smart Edge, we're building a better way for businesses to overcome cost and complexity of deploying edge services, private mobility, and data processing. At its core, our product provides a robust Multi-access edge computing (MEC) platform that decentralizes networks and allows any enterprise or mobile operator to place services at the edge, adjacent to the user.
We're continuously growing, and we're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who loves solving problems across the entire tech stack. You'll be working with our DevOps team that's responsible for developing technology across our MEC Controller and Edge Node.
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with experience building cloud and Linux-based services that has worked on a medium/large development project.

In this role, you will own the development and delivery of core functionality on our edge computing platform. You will be expected to create and deliver system designs, create detailed documentation, solve complex problems, and deliver high quality code on the team. Most importantly, you'll be responsible for interacting with multiple stakeholders and managing ambiguity and setting realistic expectations.
In this position you will gain invaluable experience which will allow growth and expanded opportunities within this business group as well as future possible opportunities with other business groups within Intel.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering or other science/engineering related field.
