You will be joining the growing site of Intel New Mexico. Which is the home for our most advanced packaging technologies (EMiB, Foveros) and the TD hub for our Silicon Photonics and 3DXpoint memory (Optane) initiatives.
As the Quality and reliability manager for the site, you will be a leader in CQN (Corporate Quality Network), Intel's Quality and Reliability organization. You will work internally with the site management, Silicon photonics TD, Optane TD, and very closely with Logic TD teams, Packaging TD teams, Intel assembly sites, and the various business units.
Your core responsibilities are an interesting and exciting mix of leading Ad-hoc teams in solving complex technological/reliability problems, setting and driving strong quality culture, and cultivate and develop your own organization.
Our site, your next working place, is located at Rio Rancho, on the outskirts of Albuquerque NM the land of enchantments. At the heart of a growing and vibrant community, but still a short driving distance from beautiful parks with endless outdoor activities.
Your key deliverables will include:
- Outlining a detailed strategy for the site to certify new technologies.
- Setting and executing a strategy to ensure the site is meeting the highest quality and reliability goals for all of its technologies. Setting and monitoring Yield and Reliability indicators to ensure the above.
- Forming and leading ad-hoc response team for customer feedbacks, end of the line, and in-line quality signals.
- Taking informed decisions balancing business and quality requirements.
- Hiring, managing, training, and developing a talented team of approximately 20 quality and reliability engineers. Making your team the organization of choice on-site.
To be successful in this role the candidate should have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), strong networking and social skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. Work under pressure, and in an ever-changing and dynamic environment. Push forward multiple parallel efforts in a constrained environment.
This role is an 'on-site' role and requires living in New Mexico.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel Sponsorship.
The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering/Physics or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering managerial experience in semiconductors Fab process, Yield, Reliability, or Test/Validation.
A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering/Physics or a related field.
Experience in process Certification and reliability risk assessment, quality systems, and quality culture knowledge
