Wafer Level Assembly Industrial Engineer

The Oregon Wafer Level Assembly (WLA) organization is looking for Industrial Engineering candidates to join our growing team in RA4. Oregon Wafer Level Assembly is an integral part of Intel's new FOVEROS technology and a part of the new Disaggregated Manufacturing Organization. This team is focused on planning and optimizing the capital forecasts, material flows, and factory layouts to meet Oregon's ramping Wafer Level Assembly requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys multiple facets of Industrial Engineering and wants to be part of a new and exciting organization.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Developing and validating process tool capacity models and metrics to forecast equipment requirements and identify process flow bottlenecks.
• Evaluating tool performance to the model of record and partnering with engineering teams to develop roadmaps to close performance gaps.
• Forecasting support equipment requirements working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to identify focus areas and production volume grows.
• Building mathematical models to support technology decisions that affect the manufacturing process.
• Determining the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow.
• Capacity analysis, queue time analysis, limiter assessment, and optimization of capital and product balancing across Intel sites.
• Delivering innovative solutions to Area Manager and Factory Manager levels of the organization.
• Identifying and resolving production challenges in cross functional teams of Central Capacity IE's, Layout IE's, Global Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Process Engineering, Factory Construction, and Automation.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering or Science discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 1+ year(s) of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or as Data Analyst.
• 1+ year(s) of experience using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, VBA, Excel, or similar data collection and analysis software.
