Come join the Core System Software Enabling PAE team in Intel's Server division. You will be conducting multidisciplinary work in the customer enabling team to grow your skillset in server manageability firmware enabling and debug.
You will have the opportunity to influence new product definitions, assist customer architects and engineers in building servers by delivering design specs, technical training, debug customer issues, and analyze/implement proofs of concept. You will initiate and contribute to overall design and development of new ideas and products and impact company's revenue by helping customers launch their products on time. You will also be working closely with the firmware development and architecture teams within Intel to create documentation and collateral for customer enabling as well as work with teams across multiple geos in defining the customer enablement process. Looking for a self-starter who is focused and has a passion for learning, comfortable adopting. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Your main responsibilities will include a mix of:
Assisting customers with power-on of server platform designs, including onsite customer visits.
Debugging/triaging customer found firmware issues.
Hosting meetings with customers and providing customer training
Participating in various internal forums and updating status to customer and internal stakeholders
Gather customer feedback to influence future product definitions, enabling and debug processes
Creating customer facing technical documents like white papers, Integration Guide, Compliance Guide etc.
Willing to make technical and enabling decisions for the team
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related.
8+ years of experience in the following:
Design experience or working knowledge of server systems, chip sets, and/or processor architecture.
Programming in C/C++ or related
Experience with firmware debug methodologies
System level boot flow, BIOS knowledge and OS boot process.
Firmware or Platform software development and/or validation.
Server configurations and hardware peripherals.
